No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it..........1Cor. 10:13
This is my favorite verse and I sometimes wonder why that is because the trials that I go through sometimes feel that they are to much for me to handle. when I am in a trial I will look up that verse and ponder it asking the Lord..........ok Lord your word says that you will not give up more that I can handle and here I am very overwhelmed with this situation and can't handle it. Why would you allow me to go through this? You know when your going through something you don't feel like a strong person at the time but according to this scripture the Lord sees me as a strong person who can handle the trial at the time. I sure wish I had more confidence in myself like the Lord does. the last part of the verse is what comforts me the most.............the Lord will provide a way so that I can stand....................just reading that gives me comfort. I pray that as you go through trials that you will be able to recall that verse and that it will bring comfort to you.
